TBOWIT Members!
Join us for a day of service to the Tampa Bay community at Feeding Tampa Bay! As a group, we'll be sorting foods in the warehouse by inspecting perishable and/or non-perishable foods for their expiration date and quality, then packaging those goods into bags/boxes that will be distributed to our hungry neighbors soon thereafter.
Need to Know for Volunteers:
- Attire: In consideration of your safety, volunteers MUST wear flat, closed-toe shoes. Volunteers may not wear tank tops, sleeveless or short-cut shirts (crop tops), or short-shorts. Volunteers will be asked to reschedule their shifts if these guidelines are not followed.
- Orientation: FTB staff will provide orientation on-site at the start of our shift, so no need to study anything before you arrive!
- Parking: Parking is available right outside the West (Main) Entrance to the building. Upon entering the building, you will be greeted by FTB staff and TBOWIT Board Members.
- Volunteer Hours: FTB staff are available on-site to sign any volunteer documentation needed for professional/personal reasons.
- Waivers: All volunteers will be asked to sign a liability waiver before starting their shift.
