​Congratulations to Olga Pina for receiving the 2014 FSBDC at USF Volunteer of the Year award, which was presented at the May TBOWIT membership meeting. Olga received this award for volunteering as a speeaker for the SBDC's International Trade Certificate Program for the past 10 years. Congratulations, Olga!

Ms. Varela has been with IKEA since 1989 in multiple locations overseas and in the United States. She will share anecdotes and lessons drawn from her experience opening IKEA's presence in the Tampa area, training sales staff on the ideas, values and products of this important Swedish retailer and the challenges of integrating their Scandinavian corporate culture in Florida.​
The Laura Bedigfifield Scholarship is TBOWIT's committment to helping the local community. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide economic assistance to local Tampa Bay students who have a career focus on international trade. Every year, TBOWIT awards this scholarship during its Annual Awards Luncheon. The pictures below show our most recent scholarship recipients.
